Hmmmmm

I thought I'd change things up a bit and add some new pictures. Most of these were taken  in Idaho while I was visiting my grandparents. We drove up to the Idaho side of the Tetons then through Swan Valley for some square ice-cream. It was definitely a grand adventure with a lot of driving and some really beautiful scenery.
Enjoy!!
This was on our Idaho trip. I took a whole bunch of these cause I loved the rainbow at the bottom of the waterfall. It was loud, kind of chilly, and I'm pretty sure I got splashed a little but the view was gorgeous.

Hey, check it out! It's the Tetons! This has to be one of my personal favorites from the pictures I've taken. I love the view and the clouds over the mountains.

This one was in my front yard. Those silly hummingbirds guard the feeders sometimes to keep the others away. This one slipped through the guard and I think he was just content to just sit there and let me take his picture.
I'm pretty sure this is part of the Snake River. We passed it on our way to the Tetons and I'm pretty sure God is the only one that had a better view of this than us.
My mom loves to keep Hibiscus in pots in our dining room. They don't always bloom cause my stupid bird likes to chew the buds off. This was one of the lucky ones and since the flowers are so few and far between I took a picture of this one.

Oh, good times. One of the last times I got together with my high school friends before we graduated we all had a barbeque with a camp fire. The fire pit is in my friend's backyard. We ran out of wood and found this log by her house and one of the boys decided we should put it on the fire. So we did. Not long after it started to burn one of the guys started jumping over it and we were soaking him and the grass with a hose so they wouldn't catch fire. I took this in the dark with my cell phone so I'm surprised it turned out as good as it did.  Kind of fuzzy, but a cool shot none the less.

I love the sunflowers my mom makes us plant in the yard. I took this one cause I liked the shot of the bee. Now I look at it and the flower is blowing me a kiss.
Ducks, what more do I have to say?
I thought the tree was really cool. It amazes me that a pine tree can grow so well in rock. A beautiful day in Idaho and a magic tree that can grow in rock. AWESOME!

I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THESE. I WAS GETTING FLACK FOR NOT PUTTING UP SOME MORE PICTURES. THESE ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITES. HOPEFULLY YOU WON'T HAVE TO WAIT TOO LONG FOR ME TO GET THINGS DONE AND POST NEW PICTURES. IT'S BEEN CRAZY HERE SINCE I GOT A NEW JOB. LOVE MY JOB, BUT IT DOESN'T LEAVE MUCH TIME FOR PICTURES. OH WELL. ENJOY LIFE, AND AS EMERSON WROTE, "DO NOT GO WHERE THE PATH MAY LEAD, GO INSTEAD WHERE THERE IS NO PATH AND LEAVE A TRAIL." UNTIL NEXT TIME, ENJOY!

Home at Last

I have been away at school for the last forever and I noticed I packed up my jump drive of pictures, but now I am home and have my real computer with all my pictures on it. This is my first official post for those non followers.  I took all of these at the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City, Utah with my cell phone, and I am pretty proud of the results.
Enjoy!!

Baby Elephant

Baby Giraffe

Those are kind of stupid labels cause you can tell what they are but the fact that they are babies isn't really apparent in the picture. My trip was in January a couple years ago, thus the snow.

In the Beginning

I'm always hearing how people really like my pictures, and I got this great idea from my sister. She started a blog and I checked it out the other day and decided that a photography blog was a pretty good idea. Thus the title, Shoot the World. I'm not actually shooting anything, unless it's with a camera and my itchy shutter finger. This should be a grand adventure full of pictures and lots and lots of taken over storage space. :D
